Why we built this
About ILES
Home maintenance isn't hard to understand. But it's exhausting to manage.
You know you need to mow the lawn, clean the pool, service the HVAC. You've hired people to do it. But somehow, you're still the one checking if it got done, following up when it didn't, and wondering whether the work was actually done right.
The problem isn't finding vendors. It's that hiring vendors doesn't solve the real issue: someone still has to coordinate, track, inspect, and stay on top of everything. That someone is usually you.
ILES exists to close that gap — the space between outsourcing tasks and actually being free of them. We take on the mental load, not just the labor coordination.
Our Philosophy
What guides how we work
ILES isn't designed around doing more. It's designed around doing things in a way that actually removes burden.
Responsibility, not just service
We don't just schedule work — we take ownership of whether it happens, how well it's done, and what comes next. That's a fundamentally different relationship.
Prevention over reaction
Problems that are caught early cost less and stress less. Our approach is built around staying ahead, not catching up.
Clarity over complexity
We tell you exactly what's included, how we operate, and what we won't do. No surprises, no fine print, no scope creep.
Peace of mind as the product
The real value isn't mowed lawns or clean pools. It's knowing someone competent is handling it — and will tell you if something needs your attention.
HOW WE'RE DIFFERENT
Membership vs. managing it yourself
Most homeowners have hired help. But that's not the same as having
someone take responsibility for making sure everything runs.
Traditional Approach
-
You find and hire vendors
-
You schedule and coordinate
-
You hope the work gets done well
-
You react when problems emerge
-
You track multiple relationships
ILES Membership
-
We vet, onboard and manager providers
-
We build and maintain a recurring calendar
-
We inspect and follow up on every visit
-
We plan ahead to prevent problems
-
You have one point of contact
The difference isn't what gets done. It's who carries the responsibility for making sure it happens correctly.
WHO ILES IS FOR
We're not for everyone — by design
ILES is built for a specific kind of homeowner. Being honest about fit helps us serve our members better.
ILES is a good fit if you're
-
Homeowners who value their time more than DIY savings
-
People who want things handled, not just scheduled
-
Those who appreciate structure and clear expectations
-
Owners of properties that need regular, recurring care
-
Anyone tired of being the project manager of their own home
ILES may not be right if you're
-
Those who prefer managing vendors directly
-
People looking for one-time or emergency services
-
Homeowners who want the cheapest option available
-
Anyone who needs constant customization and exceptions
-
Properties outside our current service coverage
There's no pressure to fit.
If ILES sounds like what you need, we'd be glad to talk. If it doesn't, that's okay too — we'd rather be the right choice for fewer people than the wrong choice for many.
What We Believe
The principles behind how we operate
Quality comes from structure
Consistency matters more than heroics. We build systems that ensure standards are met every time, not just when someone's paying attention.
Accountability requires clarity
You can't hold someone accountable for vague expectations. That's why we define exactly what we do, how we communicate, and what's out of scope — before you sign up.
Trust is earned through reliability
We don't ask for trust upfront. We earn it by showing up, following through, and telling the truth — even when it's inconvenient.
Real service reduces burden
If you have to manage the manager, what's the point? Our goal is to take things off your plate completely — not add another relationship to track.
